Can you believe this?
Yesterday, I wrote about following the money when there is a scandal. The President and all the president’s men are now saying that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is using foreign money against the Democrats in campaign ads.
Yesterday, I wrote about the President singling out Karl Rove for a similar activity. These attacks are nothing more than an attempt to stir up the base. But what base does the President have left? What does the Democratic Party have left? They might have Hillary and they might have Bill, but even these two cannot reverse what this President and this Congress has done in the last few years.
The attempt to discredit Republicans by diverting the issue is not only foolish, but it illustrates just how desperate the Liberals are. Their agenda has failed. Their attempt to fundamentally change the country has failed. And the President has failed. These are all good things for the country.
There is a three pronged approach that the liberals in Congress and in the government have tried to use. There is the notion of big Government is best. There is the notion that the media can manipulate the voter and finally, there is the notion that our education system can be the instrument that our young will be indoctrinated with. In each case, the agenda has been met with resistance by people who are now starting to see and realize just how much a danger the liberals present.
The latest attempt to brand some Republicans as unethical or not following the rules in campaign financing and advertising is specious; this word is defined: having deceptive attraction or allure having false look of truth or genuineness.
The Vice President said yesterday that the Republicans are out raising all sorts of foreign money. The Democrats released an ad that describes this as liberty robbing. What does this administration know about liberty?
If we analyze the audience that all this is aimed at, it is the audience that remains. The audience consists of Minority voters and the young who are idealists. Remember, idealism gets in the way of reality. The President said over the weekend that the blacks must get out and vote like they did in 2008. He was addressing an audience of young people when a book was thrown on stage and a streaker ran in front of the audience. Did I say streaker, yes, a nude male made an appearance. This is all that the President has left.
Let’s talk about Congress, who did not vote to extend the Bush tax cuts before they adjourned. Let’s talk about how the new tax burden will take upwards of $1,100.00 out of the pay checks of low income workers and the same people who were listening to his speech over the weekend.
Let’s talk about this in front of the minority groups that went to listen to the president and saw a streaker. Let’s talk about this in front of the young people of the nation who don’t know any better. What scares me most is that these groups are still under the impression that what the president and his cronies have presented will work.
Winston Churchill said it best, “If you’re not a liberal at twenty, you have no heart, if you’re not a conservative, at forty you have no brain.”
We must teach our young and teach this president that it is time to stand up and listen. It is time to stand up and say maybe I have been wrong. Churchill said of courage, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”
Yesterday, I began the week talking about following the money in a scandal. Today, I am writing about following the line that the press will report, because the president spoke about it. Today, we must begin to educate the young about the ills of big government and those who perpetrate the scandal for votes.
A new opinion research dynamic poll was released; in a generic ballot of likely voters the November midterm will show that in a high turnout the Republicans will have a 53% lead above the Democrats 41% turnout. In a low turn out the numbers are just about the same.
The good news is that some people get it and the bad news is that some still don’t.

A footnote: We have 21 days and after that two more years to educate those who still don’t get it. It is an attitude that we must start to change. Churchill said it best: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” Believe it!
