Did you hear the one about

Have you ever been told a joke that started out as "did you hear the one about..." and it turned out to be the worst joke ever?

Well that's what we have with the Obama Administration. Tonight the president is hosting the first ever Beer Summit at the playground on The White House grounds. This is in a response to the arrest of the Presidents friend Professor Gates of Harvard University. The joke here is that Professor Gates teaches Race relations. He was arrested by Officer Crowley of the Cambridge Police Department after a 911 call was made about a man breaking into a home.

As it turned out the Professor was breaking into his own home. He was arrested after he displayed some sort of tirade and spewed racial remarks at the arresting Officer. When asked about the incident, the President said , " he didn't have all the facts, but the Police acted stupidly".

After all was said and done, the woman who made the complaint said nothing about a black man, even when asked about who was breaking in. The Police officer is known for his professionalism on the job in race relations. The second joke here is the President elevated this situation and is now trying to make good by exploring ways of communication when race is involved.

What we fail to recognize is that it was not a white man that created an unsafe environment in this particular setting. It was not a White man that sat in a Chicago Church for 20 years and listened to a black preacher spew words of hate against white society and his very own Country; it was our president. It was a concerned citizen doing her duty and it was a man doing his job!

What we should be questioning is the objectivity of Professor Gates and the President in race relations. This is no joke!
